The reason why i want to be a biochemistry
Good
afternoon guys, when I was little, my father had an accident so he was in the
house all the time. We watched TV a lot hour馃摵, was in that moment when I started
to see the serie “CSI”.
That serie
was the first step to my decision, I wanted to be like those scientists, I
wanted work in those labs and help to resolve crimes. My dad helped me and told
me that the best option was to study in the School of PDI, with the years we
gone to the School and I was disappointed because that isn´t the way for what I
wanted. One day I asked to my chemistry’ teacher in the school what career I
could study for to be that kind of scientist and it was then told me the best
option was Biochemistry, I started studying and learning and was the best
option for work in criminalistics.
The first
time I did the PSU, I postulated to Biochemistry in Pontificia Universidad
Cat贸lica and in Universidad de Chile but I didn’t reach the score, however the
second time I entered to Universidad de Chile. My plan ‘b’ was study Chemistry
and internally switch to Biochemistry because after all that was my objective
and here I am.
When I
finish the career I would like work with the police and forensic chemistry. And
who know? In a couple of years, I could retire and go live in Valdivia because
I love that city馃槏
Hi Javi!, You never wanted to study another career?
ResponderEliminarIt's great that you could enter to the career you like after you didn't reach the score the first time, the perceverance is so important and this will take you so far away.
ResponderEliminargreat!! the criminalist is a very interinting area.
ResponderEliminarIt's funny see how the people know what they want with a tv series jeje, i hope that you could work in forensic chemistry in the future:)
ResponderEliminarLuckily you don't watched "Dexter" or you could be a serial killer
ResponderEliminaroh! i also like "CSI", Do you know "the mentalist"?
